About Us

A photo of our barn

We are a family owned rose nursery and have enjoyed it for years; we did not intend to make it a business.  Moving into a 1901 Victorian farmhouse invited us to plant some antique roses in our yard and that’s how it all got started.  At that time, we joined the heart of the Snohomish river valley.  When we moved here, we had been in the antique business for 20 years.  Gardening has been one of our hobbies.  We belong to “Heritage Roses Northwest,” a group dedicated to education and preservation of old garden roses.

Antique Rose Farm

At this time we do not sell roses online or ship them.  If you are looking for a specific rose we would be glad to hold one for you up to a week but are unable to do any purchases online or via email.  Thank you for understanding.

The first roses we sold were all "Old Garden Roses” [pre 1867] and our first love for their beauty fragrance and history.  Soon we found we liked all roses and our customers demanded more varieties so now we sell all kinds, new and old.  One of our goals is to carry roses that are hardy for our northwest climate.  Along with the roses, we have perennials, hydrangeas, [for those shady areas], vines, small flowering shrubs, and a few specialty trees, ironwork, such as arbors and trellises.  Birdhouses, water features or just about anything, that adds character and interest to a garden.  In addition, there is a display garden and a gift shop featuring antiques and gifts in our huge old dairy barn.  So come visit the Antique Rose Farm.
